Paragliding Samoens

Discovery Flight

The ideal way to experience paragliding for the first time in Samoens !  A Discovery Flight includes approximately 10-25 mins of flight time, depending on conditions.  A minibus transfer is included, with pick up and drop off in Samoens village centre.  Allow about an hour all up, including transfer time.  If you’d like to try steering the paraglider yourself, just ask!  Your pilot will drive you up to the take-off zone at Samoens 1600 and you’ll soar over Samoens village before descending to the landing zone beside the municipal swimming pool.  The best viewpoint for family and friends will be at the landing zone (tip : ask your pilot which colour wing you’ll fly with so they can spot easily you from below!).

Criou Summit Flight

A longer flight for more adventurous flyers.  Available in the late afternoon when thermal conditions allow, a Criou Summit Flight takes you from the Samoens 1600 take-off zone directly across the valley to the iconic Criou peak.  You’ll soar for approximately 30-45 mins with your tandem pilot before descending back down to the parapent landing zone by Samoens’ municipal swimming pool.

Prestige Sunset Flight

For those that just can’t get enough paragliding !  Available in the early evening when thermal conditions allow, a Prestige Sunset Flight takes you from the Samoens 1600 take-off zone to explore the Giffre Valley from above. Fly high over Samoens for a full hour, exploring the valley from above and taking in the Criou summit from the sky.  You’ll start from the usual Samoens 1600 take-off zone and fly wherever conditions are best, landing back at the Samoens municipal swimming pool.  A fabulous option for those who’ve flown before.
