Tiny Tots lessons
Our child-friendly instructors are pleased to offer intimate one-on-one sessions designed to get children aged between 3 to 6 years of age up and skiing with a smile.
With a gentle and friendly approach, our primary aim for children this age is to teach them to love to ski, because we realise that if theyâre enjoying their ski holidays then youâll enjoy yours!
Tiny Tots lessons run for 30-60 minutes and are designed to be fun and dynamic rather than too technical. The goal is that that children enjoy the experience and leave eager to ski again. They will practice simple turns and begin learning to stop in a snowplough, progressing towards being able to take a button lift independently.
Childrenâs group ski lessons
Share the fun of learning to ski or snowboard in group lessons for children at your level, in a small group of 8 children maximum.
Led by excellent English speaking instructors, ZigZagâs childrenâs ski lessons run with just 4 to 8 students per class. Our small group sizes guarantee each child gets the individual attention they deserve, while enjoying the camaraderie of a group atmosphere.
Forget long snakes trailing behind the instructor â we donât compromise on quality and insist on genuine technical correction and encouragement.
Mini-Mouse group lessons
Small groups of children at beginner level, 6 participants maximum, with ages between 4 and 5 y/o.
At ZigZag, we recognise that little skiers need extra attention and a fun, caring approach to ensure their ski experience is a happy one.
Our new âMini Mouseâ Group is a nurtured learning programme especially designed for children aged 4 to 5 years of age.
Little beginners benefit from reduced sized groups of 4 to 6 children led by ZigZagâs experienced, child-friendly instructors. Mini Mouse lessons are taught on real ski slopes (not in an enclosed childrenâs garden), offering your children the opportunity to make genuine progress during the week.

ZIGZAG Ski Club Samoens
â Inclusivity, not exclusivity. Our ski club Samoens is open to anyone and everyone whoâd like to take part, and we aim to give equal attention to each child, regardless of their level of ability.  We aim to nurture every childâs love for skiing.
â All-round excellence.  We aim to teach children to ski well in all conditions and over all types of terrain.  If thereâs fresh snow, weâll go exploring off-piste.  If theyâre keen to jump, weâll teach some tricks.  If the children want to go fast, weâll set some gates and teach them racing techniques.  The main aim is to learn, and to have a great time doing it.  We aim to produce great little skiers.
â Safety first.  We aim to teach a high level of respect for the mountain environment.  Children will be educated about avalanche safety, ski etiquette and what to do if thereâs an accident.  Older children will be taught how to use up-to-date avalanche safety equipment, along with an understanding of snow conditions and avalanche risks as theyâll become more interested in all terrain and off-piste skiing.  We aim to produce responsible, educated skiers.
â Challenging.  Ski Club kids are usually regular skiers with parents whoâre capable skiers themselves.  We aim to teach your children things you cannot teach them yourself and to take them places you can perhaps not reach yourself.  Our team is made up of professional experts, so your children will learn the right way, right from the beginning.  Youâll be astounded by the things theyâre capable of. They will become experts of the Grand Massif and know every pistes of Samoens, Morillon, Flaine and les Carroz.
