Ice climbing
Description
Ice climbing, is a discipline part of mountaineering. The principle consists of climbing and ascending a mountain stream which has solidified and frozen with the freezing winter temperatures. To do this, we use ice axes and crampons with spikes in order to climb up along glacial formations. Practice areas are diverse, they can be corridors or ice gully in high mountains or frozen waterfalls in winter in medium mountains.
