Snowboard lessons for beginners & early intermediates

Don’t hang around on the beginners slopes!  Develop your technique quickly and efficiently with ZigZag’s top snowboard instructors.

With a good technical base you’ll be able to make the most of the time you have on the snow.  Just a few sessions with one of our snowboard experts will give you the basic skills to get up and boarding with good technique.  We specialise in providing beginners with all the skills they need to let loose on the mountain independently.

For beginners and early intermediate level snowboarders, ZigZag’s group and private snowboard lessons are excellent value for money.

Snowboard lessons for intermediate & advanced riders

Boarders with experience will particularly appreciate the opportunity to ride with ZigZag’s passionate snowboard pros.  Several of our instructors are diehard snowboarders who love nothing more than sharing their skills and technical know-how with other snowboard addicts.

You probably already know how to ride most terrain pretty confidently, though if you spend a few hours refining your technique you’ll realise just how much more fun there is to be had on a board.  With some private coaching you’ll learn inside tips and tricks that will take your riding to the next level, both on and off piste.

Snowboarders enjoy different lines to skiers.  Advanced riders can book a snowboard instructor to be shown the region’s best backcountry lines for boarders.  Get the most from your time on the mountain and learn to ride the  like a local!

For upper intermediate and advanced snowboarders, we recommend private snowboard lessons and guiding.

If your budget is tight, our Super Value Sessions are ideal (2hr afternoon sessions for 1-4pers at just 110€/session).

If you’re keen to go off piste then we recommend a minimum 4hr session (from 260€ with avalanche safety kit included for every participant).

Group snowboard lessons

Beginner snowboarders will progress really quickly, as our goal is to get you snowboarding independently as soon as possible, so you can get out and explore the mountains on your own.

We’ll help intermediate level snowboarders refine their technique, correcting flaws and honing existing skills.  Our talented instructors will analyse and improve your style both on and off piste, so you can board more efficiently and with better style over all types of terrain.

We run group lessons over 3 sessions as follows :

• morning session (09h15-11h45)
• midday session (12h00-14h30)
• afternoon session (14h00-16h30) Dec/Jan, or (14h45-17h15) Feb/Mar/Apr

The group lesson hours we can offer will depend on your level of ability.  Check which level you’re currently at and then get in touch with our office for information about which groups are running when over the dates of your stay.

Advanced boarders will revel in coaching from our advanced snowboard coaches.  You’ll work on fine technical skills, freestyle and big mountain riding.  It’s not often you get a chance to board with a professional snowboarder, so reserve some time with our top coaches before they’re all booked-out.
