Ski -Snowboard Level for children and adults :
Choose the good level
Flying start : I have never skied before.
Cristal : I am snowploughing down, i
can turn, slow down and stop. I can take the drag lift alone.
Bronze Cristal : I am starting my turn
in snowplough and repositioning my skis in a parallel position during
the turn.
Silver Cristal : I can ski in a parallel
position on a green and blue-level slope.
Gold Cristal : I can build speed and
stop in few meters. I can ski in a parallel position on a red-level
slope.
Diamant Cristal : I can ski fast in a
parallel position on a red-level slope. I start skiing everywhere
(pre racing group).
Competition/ Racing : I want to learn
racing and high performance techniques, carving, freeriding, snowpark.
SKI ADULTS
Choose the right group
Beginner : I have never skied before.
I ‘m making my first step on the snow.
Class 1, green slopes : I can do snowplough
turns, I can take the draglift but I need to build confidence and
ski more relax.
Class 2, blue slopes : I am starting
to make parallel turns on blue slopes and side slipping to control
the speed in the turn.
Class 3, red slopes : I can do parallel
turns on red slopes and stop with my skis parallel.
Class 4, Expert, black slope : I can
ski on all slopes but I am not confident in skiing with high speed.
I start doing off piste, carving, competition or freestyle if I
like it.
SNOWBOARD
Choose the right level
Beginner : It is the first time, I’ve
never snowboarded before.
Class 1, green slopes : I have one
week riding experience. I start to turn right and left on gentle
slopes. I am starting to make tricks with my board.
Class 2, blue slopes : I can turn back
and front side in small or long turn, I start to make jumps.
Class 3, red slopes : I have at least
3 weeks riding experience. I can ride red slope with speed and commitment.
I will make the first big tricks in the snowpark.
Class 4, or Expert : All snow, all
terrain, off piste, carve turn, freestyle,…
