RESERVATIONS

Reservations should be made as far in advance as is possible & will be processed according to availability. We cannot guarantee to process reservations made less than one week (seven days) in advance of the anticipated start date, though we will endeavour to do so. Reservations are subject to availability and to confirmation by the School.


CONFIRMATION

A deposit of 40% of the total cost of instruction must be paid to confirm a reservation, with the balance to be paid no later than one month before lessons commence. Full payment is required upon reservation for all services booked less than one month in advance. Your booking will be taken as your acknowledgement of our terms and conditions.


PAYMENT

Payment is accepted via ZigZag’s Secure Online Payment System, via Bank Transfer, by Euro Cheque, by Credit Card & by cash. Any problems with payments should be brought to our attention immediately. Online money transfers are made at the client’s own risk.


CANCELLATION

In the case of cancellation by the client, the following charges apply:

  More than 4 weeks notice …… 50€ witheld for admin costs
2 to 4 weeks notice ………………… 40% deposit witheld
Less than 14 days notice ………. 100% of total reservation value witheld

No refund will be given, in whole or in part, by the Ski School in cases of non-presentation due to illness, injury, resort or lift closure, adverse weather conditions, late arrival/delay of any kind, or due to any other reason outside of the School’s control. In these cases we are happy to provide a letter as proof of cancellation/non-attendance for the purposes of insurance.

A minimum number of people is required to open a group lesson. In the event of not having sufficient pupils to maintain a course, private lessons to value paid or a refund will be offered.

The Ski School reserves the right to cancel its lessons or change lesson timings for various reasons, including those outside of its control. Full refunds of unused lessons will be made in this instance.

If the school cancels a session, only the value of the cancelled activity will be refunded. No further compensation will be provided.


INSURANCE

Please note that our rates do not include ski-lift pass, equipment hire or insurance of any kind. We recommend all clients take out insurance for peace of mind.


GENERAL

If you have a problem, complaint, or are in any way dissatisfied with the service provided by ZigZag, please let us know immediately so that we can do our best to resolve the issue.

Please respect start & finish times of lessons. Your lesson will begin & end at the agreed times even if you arrive late. To be fair to other clients in group sessions we cannot wait for latecomers.

For your own safety & that of others, it is a condition of booking that you will respect the professional judgement of your instructor while under his or her instruction. Please be aware that all off-piste activities involve a level of risk even when accompanied by an instructor or guide.

Skiing and snowboarding requires a certain amount of physical effort, so all clients should present themselves in a fit and safe condition for physical activity in the mountain environment. Please inform the Ski School and/or your instructor of any situation, medical or otherwise, of which they should be aware.
