Adrien, we would just like to thank you for taking Matthew out last week in the Tandem Taxi Ski and for helping to make all of our holiday so enjoyable. It is hard to explain what it all meant to Matthew and to ourselves after everything he has been through. After his accident we never expected to be able to ski with Matthew again and that really upset all of us, especially as we had all had so many enjoyable holidays skiing together in the past.

Matthew was a very good skier before his accident, always skiing fast at the front of the group and it was good to see that didn't alter! He has been full of his skiing achievements since returning home and already talking about going again next year. How fantastic it is that a disability no longer has to prevent a person from enjoying the mountains.

It is a remarkable story and his latest skiing holiday is another remarkable achievement on his long road to recovery.

We just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how grateful we are for the fantastic lessons you provided our children with at Christmas. The boys (6 & 8) were complete novices and by the end of the week were skiing blue runs, well beyond our expectations. Régis & Audrey were a real delight, they made the lessons fun and had a fantastic way with the children. I would recommend ZigZag to anyone and we will most definitely book with you again next year. I wanted to write and say thankyou for a great ski experience! The booking process was really straightforward and you gave me some good advice. Our instructor Régis was fantastic. Rég has a natural talent for teaching. He coached us in such a positive way, never critical so that we progressed quickly and easily, our confidence growing, enjoying every activity. I was delighted with the stage myself and my kids had reached by the end of our last lesson. Thanks Rég! Wanted to first say how impressed we were with the children’s ski lessons. Can’t fault you. All the instructors were lovely and very skilled at dealing with young children. It was lovely to see one of your instructors cuddling my 5 year old when she was a bit reluctant on the first day. We never imagined that we would be struggling to keep up with our 5 and 6 year olds on a green run after just 3 days of lessons!

I wanted to let you know how much everyone enjoyed their lessons with ZigZag!! My middle daughter Livvy after 4 group lessons is skiing confidently between resorts and enjoying blue runs and Maddie my youngest now has her confidence restored and is zipping down runs like a little steam train! You were spot on - Jez and Sam raved about their snow boarding lesson and said not only did they have fun they learnt loads!! In terms of myself I had the best lesson I have ever had and am now really enjoying my skiing.

We wanted to say a 'Well done and Thank You' for your efforts during what was quite a difficult winter ski season. The feedback we have had from our guests who have had lessons with ZigZag has been fantastic, the quality of the Instructors and the level of English that they speak has been excellent. Almost without exception Guests have felt that the lessons represent very good value-for-money, which is extremely important. Children especially have really enjoyed their lessons and commented on what great fun they have been.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you on behalf of myself, Lucy, Robbie and Kate who skied with you last week in Samoëns. They had an amazing time, and all 3 have come away with confidence and love for skiing I had hoped they would. On a personal note, I’d just like to add that from an external point of view ZigZag looks to offer a much better quality of service than ESF. I learnt with ESF when I was a child, and we certainly didn’t receive the amount of attention that Robbie, Lucy and Kate did last week - so again a massive thank you (especially as requested by Robbie, Lucy and Kate to Lionel, Adrien and Mel).

We would like to let you know that the instructors Dan and Eve had were the best instructors we've had. The kids loved them and have learned more with them because of their fun attitude, willingness to speak English and great approach to lessons than any lessons they've had with ESF!

I just want to thank you very much for the fantastic lessons you gave our children. Charlie and Rory had Mel in a group lesson and Emma had Julien for individual lessons. This was our first skiing holiday and we all loved it. The kids loved their lessons and we found both Mel and Julien to be really pleasant and friendly with the kids. It made such a difference that they were happy and having fun whilst also improving their skiing. We hope to return again next year to Samoëns and will be in touch about more lessons. We would highly recommend ZigZag ski to our friends.

Over the years I have been taught by various ESF instructors in many resorts and although they are obviously good at skiing, I knew their teaching approach would not be suitable for my 4 year old, so I researched endlessly online before booking ZigZag and read many (deservedly) positive reports. My little girl (Carly) then had the pleasure of spending 4 weeks with the instructors and she transformed from a shy 4 year old non-skier who didn't take easily to "strangers" into a confident skier (so "chuffed" with her bronze medal!) who couldn't wait to get onto the slopes. ZigZag ski instructors attitude made all the difference to her and what a joy it was to see her happy and looking forward to skiing every day. She remembers Julien and Charlie, Régis, Adrien and Mel (especially Julien and Charlie it has to be said!) and still talks about them. PS: Carly still to add purple glitter to her drawing and then I'll send it to the ski office.

I just wanted to email you to say what a fantastic group of instructors you have. Our children, Ella and Alfie, had lessons with Adrien and Julian and I was so impressed with their style of teaching - both of our children had a fun week and learnt a huge amount. They also had a 2 hour snowboard lesson at the end of the week with Greg who was equally fantastic (although poor Ella broke her wrist)!! We have tried many ski schools over the last few years and both my husband and i would say that you are the best!! You have the balance of teaching and fun perfect.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Adrien for his patience and efforts this week helping me to learn to ski. In a few short hours I feel that I really progressed thanks to his advice and tips. He was very calm and patient which really helped. He was also tremendous with my son, Oliver who has just turned 3 and never skied before. I fully trusted Adrien to look after Oliver and in turn Oliver really enjoyed himself.

Julien is a wonderful instructor and entertainer, and after insisting they did not want to go to ski 'school' on holiday, Kate and Olivia grew to love ski school with Zigzag's small groups in what was their very first time on skis. Mastering the poma (on Tuesday) was a big step and from then on they blossomed. Their friends Erin and Angus also took their skiing to a new level thanks to their ZigZag instruction. They did not want to go to ski school either, but were made to and now say they were delighted they did. Both were tackling red runs from the top of the mountain by the end of the week and went to Flaine on Saturday with their mum and dad. None of that would not have been possible without your expertise so a huge thank you for giving them all a great start and boost. We will definitely return to Samoëns and ZigZag for our next ski holiday.

Last week my nieces and sister-in-law had lessons with you – the girls were in children’s group lessons for 2.5 hours each day, and my sister-in-law had a private lesson one afternoon. I thought I would write to say how impressed I am with the progress all three made in their lessons – the girls have gained in skill and confidence, far more than they did in the (more expensive) ski school in Chamonix last year, and their mother has been transformed from a very nervous blue run skier to one confident enough to try red runs and to lead her girls down reds. Most importantly, the girls ski safely (unlike a lot of the small children we saw zipping around the slopes out of control last week). They’ve now all caught the bug quite seriously and want to ski more than one week a year!

We have just returned from our annual Easter break in Samoëns and wanted to let you know how fantastic we found our ski instructor, Mel. He was extremely accommodating and flexible, tailoring his lessons appropriately to the different levels of confidence and expertise within the group. He was careful not to overload us with information and gently encouraged all of us to achieve things we would not have thought possible at the beginning of the week. We split the lessons in such a way that over the 5 days he taught 5 members of our family and all of us feel that we made significant progress in our skiing during this time. We look forward to skiing with ZigZag next year!

A big thank you to the ZigZag team. Harry and Edward have really enjoyed their skiing this year and have improved dramatically from the beginning of the week. I would also like to thank you for organising the Vallée Blanche trip - Pierre was an excellent guide and made our day very enjoyable. On top of this I asked Marie to marry me on the top of the Aiguille du Midi to which she said "yes" (it must have been the thin air). Pierre was concerned because he said had he known he would have brought some champagne! We will be returning to Morillon in the New Year so until then thank you again and see you in 2009.

Just a quick note to say thanks to Fred for our fantastic lessons! We all had a wonderful time. Lessons have been a bit hit and miss on our past skiing trips and it makes such a difference to the enjoyment of your holiday.
