Meeting your instructor in Samoëns
Your instructor will meet you by the ZigZag flags in the middle of the beginner’s plateau, at Samoëns 1600m. When you take the Grand Massif Express gondola up to the ski area, the meeting point is marked by two large black flags with ‘ZigZag’ written on them in yellow. They’re easy to see just 50m from where you exit the gondola, beside a safety patroller’s hut and a large piste map.
Our instructors wear turquoise blue Oakley uniforms with ZigZag written on the back, just like in the photo to the right.
