The Origin of ZigZag

We have a passion for skiing, so have made it our lives.

Winter 2011/12 will be ZigZag’s sixth season. We launched ZigZag after more than 10yrs of experience working for numerous inspiring (or uninspiring) large ski schools.

Having worked throughout France in different ESF and ESI schools and also spending our summers working in resorts on the other side of the world (Chile, New Zealand), we amassed our vast combined experience and used it to create something entirely new.

Taking the best bits from everywhere we’d ever worked and from all of the different people we’ve met along the way, we combined according to our own values and designed a school for you – our guests.

ZigZag as we know it grew from the concept of Adrien and Jenny Vallier, a brother and sister instructor team who yearn to offer their guests freedom and flexibility.  They brought together a team of similar minded experts specialising in high end tuition with a friendly approach.

Today, ZigZag is the area's most popular ski school for English speakers and is highly regarded for its strong customer focus and commitment to excellence.
